Mission Statement

The South Texas Technology Management (STTM) is a regional technology transfer office that serves UT Brownsville, UT Pan Am, UTSA, and UT Health Science Center at San Antonio. Our mission is to provide comprehensive and integrated technology development services for our campuses using the most effective protection and commercialization strategies to stimulate and capitalize on the University's intellectual property portfolio, thereby achieving maximum economic and humanitarian value for the Institution, its staff, and the community.
